Who you are
You are a data-driven and tech savvy marketer with a knowledge of impression-based media that you leverage to drive results. You are a nimble learner that gets energy from experimentation, knowing there’s more than one solution to a challenge. You are well-versed in industry standard tools and an early adopter of new technologies that enable you to meet aggressive acquisition goals, but you know the difference between a shiny new thing and something that can tangibly optimize performance. Even when decisions need to be made on the fly, you are comfortable with iterating, but you also consistently execute high decision quality by leveraging data and analytics.
You have a proven track record of executing and managing paid social campaigns and experience working with DTC e-commerce companies like Warby Parker, Away, Casper or performance based marketing agencies like Rain the Growth. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and write your own SQL queries to get the data you need. You also have experience working directly with Facebook Ads Manager as well as experience with DSPs and programmatic ad buying.
What the role is
In the Paid Social, Senior Associate position you will be part of the small, but mighty marketing team. You will support the Senior Marketing Manager as we scale the team to support Drizly’s rapid growth and expansion to additional marketing channels.
Your day-to-day will have a direct impact on Drizly’s financial goals because the team is responsible for driving new buyers and revenue growth. The team prides itself on driving results and always leveraging data to improve. This role will have an emphasis on the technical side of marketing and you will be responsible for understanding web pixels, app SDK, bidding automation, and QAing campaigns to ensure we’re properly reporting all results and impact to our supplier partners.
In this role you will:
- Primarily manage impression-based channels (Paid Social & Connected TV)
- Coordinate and manage/report on partner-funded programs
- Review analytics needs, ensure data integrity across all of our channels + liaise with analytic teams
- Execute clear performance improvements to ensure efficiency and/or scale in our impression-based channels
- Support the team as the go-to person for technical questions pertaining to marketing and channel management
