DFC equips young people to transform empathy into social action.
Design for Change’s vision is a world where all young people have the agency, along with the knowledge, skills and mindsets to create a more just and equitable world.
To date, over 2 million young people have used the DFC methodology to create change in their local communities.
As a recognized 501(c)(3), DFC USA works to equip teachers with the tools, training and resources to implement design thinking for social change at their school, after school program or camp.
Design for Change is embarking on a multi-year initiative to grow our direct to teacher product offering. We recognize there is a gap in the market for out-of-the-box and easy-to-adopt Equity and Social Justice programs for middle schoolers. We believe Design for Change can fill that need for teachers around the country.
Over the course of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we adapted all of our student activities to be applicable for remote synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. We now wish to expand upon that product by improving our overall product-market-fit, onboarding and customer success approaches and tools.
The main goal of the product lead will be to build, deploy, measure, and iterate on this important phase of developing our product. The lead will work with internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment on a clear product strategy and roadmap and then work with our engineering team to implement that product vision.
