Who you are

You are an empathetic marketer with a deep track record of success in ecommerce environments. You have led teams and fostered collaboration while balancing both strategy and execution. You also bring an analytical approach that looks for continuous improvement. You are looking to join a high-growth company where you will build a B2B marketing function from the ground up, operating as a strategist while executing against key objectives through hands-on work.

You have a knack for understanding company strategy and translating that into programs that get results. You do this by putting yourself in your customers’ shoes and crafting programs that serve them real value. You also get energized by developing talents on your team through thoughtful, intentional coaching.

Lastly, you are an effective collaborator that has repeatedly built partnerships and relationships with partners outside of a marketing organization, namely within sales and account management functions.
We’d be really impressed if you have over 10 years of experience in a business setting where you’ve focused on B2B and B2B2C marketing in an e-commerce marketplace environment.

What the role is

The B2B Marketing Director role will be the first-ever leadership position to build and execute the marketing strategy for Drizly’s retail and supplier (alcohol brand) customers. From day 1, it will lead a small but hardworking team of marketing managers to grow the value we deliver to retailers today while building fresh strategies for strategic brand partnerships. The B2B Marketing Director will have the responsibility to take Drizly from a respected position in the BevAlc space to a true thought leader in the industry. This will happen by partnering with department leaders across the business, understanding our unique value in the industry, and honing the engine that can communicate that value.

12 months after joining the team, the B2B Marketing Director will have established Drizly as a go-to for our B2B customers to access consumer insights, developed an ecosystem with tools for our retail customer and defined clear goals for our brand customers.

Please note: this role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Colorado.

In this role, you will:

  • Fully understand our retailer and supplier brand customers, their pain points, and how Drizly can deliver value for them
  • Partner with Sales and Account management for each of the above customers to develop positioning for our products and supporting sales materials
  • Position Drizly as a thought leader in the BevAlc industry using our rich data and by exploring a variety of communication channels, from email to in-person events
  • Drive retailer awareness and qualified leads to be a Drizly retail partner
  • Build relationships with Drizly’s vast existing retailer network, driving advocacy and stickiness
  • Identify and execute against areas where Drizly can use technology to reduce internal team operational burdens
  • Drive awareness and engagement of Drizly as the #1 place for supplier brands to connect with BevAlc customers
