Will GDPR Change Digital Marketing As We Know It? Find Out With Alex Langshur

Wednesday, July 11, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

RSVP / Register

We hope you can make it to the next Boston Digital Analytics meetup organized by the Boston Chapter of the Digital Analytics Association (www.digitalanalyticsassociation.org).

The European Union’s (EU) enforcement of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on May 25th was for many a watershed moment, while for others it passed with barely a ripple. Regardless of how your business reacted, what is clear that GDPR is having an impact that is being felt well beyond the borders of the EU. Understanding the long-term impacts is a fundamental requirement for all digital analytics professionals and marketers, even if you don’t actively target the EU.

Join us on July 11th to hear from Cardinal Path’s founder and co-CEO, Alex Langshur, who has been on the front line of these changes. Alex will share with us what he’s seen, how GDPR has affected business large and small, what steps you can take to limit your exposure, and what’s coming given the recent $8.8BN in lawsuits levied against Google and Facebook.

More about Alex:

Alex Langshur is the founder and co-CEO at Cardinal Path, an award winning consultancy that leverages data & advanced analytics to help marketers fine tune their messages and the channels/mediums they leverage to reach customers.

Doors will open at 6PM and the talk will start around 6:30. Admission is FREE and drinks & pizza will be served.

Many thanks to Velir for hosting. We hope to see you there!
