Voice User Interfaces
Monday, January 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Google’s Dialogflow, Amazon’s Alexa, Samsung’s Bixby and more offerings out there enable companies large and small to make voice and conversational interfaces to be part of their offering.
Join us as we review how conversational interfaces are built, with practical advice on how to start prototyping without code. We’ll talk about how different platforms integrate programmatically to broader systems, and how to leverage their native capabilities to create a system that learns.
Doors open at 6:30 for networking & pizza/beer
First talks at 7pm
Hugh Seaton: Overview of Voice Interfaces, with specific focus on Dialogflow and recent improvements in NLP.
McCarter & English: A look at intellectual property and AI.
Pizza, Beer & Soft drinks included.
Bring your laptop if you want to follow along. We won’t code, but will prototype a simple voice agent.
