For the first time ever, BostonVR will meeting in Virtual Reality! How did we not do this earlier? Socialize with the regular crowd and some faraway people who never made it to Boston. Get to know AltspaceVR and the MUVE experience. If you are new to it, follow the event link to get started in AltspaceVR. Build yourself an avatar and stroll around some virtual worlds! We’ll be helping each other through the mini-bulletin board on this event page.

The centerpiece of our evening will be a panel of XR people currently flourishing in large corporations. It will be interesting to hear how they are meeting the challenge of being the internal champion of AR or VR.

Craig is CEO of Digital Precept game studio, a longtime leader of BostonVR, instructor of the XR Terra XR developer’s course. Over the years he helped build the XR community in Boston through his support of hackathons, events, and developing new tech through his consulting work. KYLE LUM — Biogen
“Kyle is a XR Project lead for Biogen. His responsibilities include operating and maintaining a Virtual Reality CAVE and helping teams visualize their chemistry, architectural models, and data visualizations in VR. JOSH GILLAM — Vector Solutions
VP of Content Innovation and Architecture at Vector Solutions, he
has worked in the field of learning and development for 18 years. His focus has been on constructing the appropriate combinations of learning opportunities in support of organizational and operational needs. Product Manager, VR & AR, Fidelity.
Within Fidelity’s Center for Applied Technology, Matthew manages the development of VR education and training modules for multiple business units. Marty Markenson who is one of many XR people working for a large XR company, PTC.
Jeffrey Jacobson is the XR person in the Simulator Program at Boston Children’s Hosptial, which is more academic than corporate.
