In celebration of Mother’s Day, join General Assembly Chicago and The Mom Project for a virtual breakfast as part of GA’s monthly Women in Tech breakfast series. This event will feature four “mompreneurs” who will share their insights on how they launched their businesses, how they’ve reached their level of success, advice on navigating the workplace as a working mom, and how they’ve been balancing their work and personal life given the recent stay-at-home orders. Get ready for an honest, vulnerable, and insightful conversation.

She is the Chapter President of Social Media Club Los Angeles and a member of the prestigious Forbes Agency Council. Amy Rosenow is an entrepreneur, financial industry veteran, hedge fund and angel investor, passionate working mom, and philanthropist.

Amy is CEO and Co-Founder of Jugl LLC, a software company focused on making it easier to be a working parent.

Prior to founding Jugl, Amy served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Sheffield Asset Management, L.L.C. for over a decade. In this role, she oversaw a variety of functions including operations, client service, investor relations, marketing, risk management, compliance and technology for the Chicago-based investment management firm. She began her career on Wall Street, working for Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.

Amy graduated from Cornell University. She lives in Chicago with her husband, two daughters and their chocolate Labrador retriever.

A passionate advocate for and educator of parents and teachers dealing with the challenges and questions associated with childhood behavioral, developmental, and learning challenges, she founded PediaSource, a pediatric telebehavioral/teledevelopmental platform offering direct, convenient access to an extensive assembly of pediatric/child and teen experts who can answer questions, help determine next steps, and provide ongoing support and coaching.

Britney Robertson is a Manager at Accelerated Growth. She has built her career helping a number of high growth start-ups scale efficiently while maximizing their growth potential in the market. After graduating from Michigan State University, Britney began her career at Northern Trust in their rotational development program where she focused on assessing mid-size companies. Britney has advised companies in a variety of industries from SaaS to Professional Services and has lead projects that have streamlined accounting processes as well as created a framework to better understand and assess operational KPI’s.

In her free time Britney serves on the Advisory Board of Embolden & Co, a non-profit with a mission of empowering female friendships and maximizing the holistic growth potential of women. In addition to Embolden, Britney is on the leadership team for clubworthy, a faith focused women’s community. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new foods, and taking long walks with her daughter, Lucy.
