Connecting Startups to Japan – Grand Opening Event

Join us for the Grand Opening of the Consulate-General of Japan in Boston’s new satellite office at CIC!

The Consulate General of Japan is opening a new office at CIC to help local start-ups and companies connect with successful, innovative Japanese companies. We aim to foster new collaboration and exchange of ideas.

On May 8th, please join us for a celebratory gathering at CIC Cambridge’s Venture Café on the 5th floor, with opportunities available for:

• Chat with us and representatives from large Japanese companies
• Representatives from FUJIFILM, ASICS and Takeda will make short, reverse pitches aimed toward start-ups and will be available for one-on-one conversations
• Meet both Japanese and non-Japanese people from various industries and sectors
• Deepen existing connections between Boston and Japan and potentially create new ones
