Hyped about Hyperapp – Gleb Bahmutov
What is the smallest and purest front end framework out there? Did someone say Elm? I said smallest! The answer is Hyperapp – a really tiny, Elm-inspired pure functional web framework that combines the best features of today’s hottest frameworks. It has built-in state management, pure functions, virtual DOM and still is easy to learn in 30 minutes.
Multi-platform JavaScript – Jeff Whelpley
It is relatively easy these days to build a simple JavaScript app for almost any individual platform (i.e. web browser, web server, native mobile native desktop, etc.). The tricky part comes when you need to build a “real world” product that targets multiple platforms. In this talk, Jeff goes over a set of best practices for multi-platform development that come from lessons learned over the past 5 years at GetHuman and on several large open source projects.
